We located the cruise online, to book it we were directed to Tripshock. Tripshock is how we finalized the booking.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked the same day around 1 pm for a 4:30 pm cruise.

Why did you choose this activity?

Their cruise listed a cruise that included the gulf, a view of crab island, and dolphins. Our children and my significant other had never been on a boat. We were interested in everything this cruise had to offer.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove from our resort to the Destin Harbor. Parking in the harbor was a bit crowded when we arrived.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

They had great staff. The captain was as funny as he was knowledgeable. Overall was a great captain.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We will forever hold the memories of Destin’s dolphins in the bay as a favorite for all of us. We had a thrilling example of what the Gulf’s waters are like. They explained how the rocks were brought in from Kentucky to set a barrier to the gulf. The Gulf waters are way too choppy to be allowed uninterrupted access to the coast. It wasn’t something I’d have guessed or known about otherwise. There were birds that followed us and would eat out of your hands. It was amazing. Kids were fishing off the bottoms of the bridges, we got to witness the buccaneer’s pirate ship sail as well.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes, I’d recommend this. It is good for all ages. There were benches and plenty of moving around space.
