How did you discover this activity?

I saw TripShock on google when I searched for things to do in Destin. I narrowed down my search to sailing, dolphin tours, and spas. When I saw the private sailing adventure for up to 6 people, I knew it’d be the perfect activity for us.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked only a week in advance.

Why did you choose this activity?

We knew we would have less than 6 people and we wanted something private for Anisha’s bachelorette party. I knew she had never been sailing and this trip was all about new experiences and having fun together.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove from our Airbnb to the harbor in just a few minutes.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

I don’t remember our captain’s name, but he was such a gentleman. He was friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and always made sure we had everything we needed. He offered us bottled water, helped us on and off the boat, pointed out where the dolphins were, let us help let down the sails towards the end, and let us know we could explore the boat as much as we wanted and sit wherever we felt comfortable.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The experience was breathtaking, relaxing, and fun. Having such an amazing captain was just the first step to such a memorable experience. We sailed right alongside the dolphins as if we were one of them. We sat towards the front of the boat once we were on open waters with fewer boats around, drank our wine, and enjoyed the view. Getting splashed every once in while up there was our way of cooling down. Towards the end, we came back to help our captain let down the sails and that was exhilarating. It was like we were a part of his crew and honestly made us feel like we were home on that boat.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to enjoy the open waters.
