The Activity we Experienced

What we chose to do

A very Personal Dolphin Tour

How did you discover this activity?

We found the tour on TripShock after a Google search of things to do in Destin, Florida.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked it the night before and couldn’t believe how easy booking and check-in was.

Why did you choose this activity?

We wanted to see dolphins, but I am not a fan of large crowds and slow boats. Screaming Eagle is a very personal, tour but in a small group setting. Captain Brad was amazing!

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove from our hotel to the harbor walk. We walked the 1/2 mile boardwalk and then walked the extra 1/4 mile to the check-in.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain Brad is amazing! The deckhand was friendly and knowledgable!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The check-in was very easy. We sat and talked with them for awhile before the trip. Everyone was very friendly. Getting on the boat was easy as well. They had hand rails and staff helping you on.

We saw over two dozen dolphins! Some were less than five feet from the boat, and some were jumping out of the water. We had amazing views of the bay and Crab Island, so we were able to get some decent photos.

Keep in mind you want to wear clothes you do not mind getting wet. Watching the dolphins ““surf”” in the boat wake will stick with us for a life time!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Absolutely! Anyone planning a trip to Destin/Fort Walton Beach area should take this trip!
