What we chose to do

We Starting Pulling in Snapper as Soon as our Lines Hit Bottom

How did you discover this activity?

We searched google for fishing trips in Destin and Ft. Walton.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

About 1 week before our tour.

Why did you choose this activity?

We love fishing, especially salt water ocean fishing.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove from Pensacola. Which is quite a long drive.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The crew was great. They were very helpful and patient. They worked hard to make sure we had a great time.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The trip was well planned. We rode about an hour and a half out to sea before captain gave horn to fish. We started pulling in snapper as soon as the line hit bottom. We probably stayed in that spot about 20 min before moving to second spot. The dolphins came around and captain moved us to different spot. We moved a few times and after about 2 good hours of fishing we headed back to port.
Everything on the boat went smoothly.

The crew KNEW exactly what they were doing when they cleaned our fish after we docked. One crew member cleaned a stringer of 60 fish and seamed happy to do it!
No complaints! Just a wonderful trip.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

This was a small charter compared to some others. It only about 25 people so no one was fishing on top of each other. We will be back next time to fish with the Olin Marler Charter Cruises.
