I found TripShock on Facebook while looking for parasailing options while in Florida. We found an awesome deal that was $10 less per person than booking through the company that took us.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked our double parasailing activity two days in advance.

Why did you choose this activity?

My boyfriend had never been parasailing and wanted to go. I loved my first parasailing experience and was ready to go again!

How did you get to the activity location?

We stayed in Fort Walton, it was a quick 10-minute drive over to Destin. It was very easy to find.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain Travis and his helper were very friendly and made sure everyone had a great time.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

There were a total of 15 passengers in our group. Everyone had a great attitude and took the internet in each other’s turn while parasailing. Several people took pictures and videos of each other. The crew offered a picture package that was reasonably priced so we paid for that and received an SD card to take home. While we were headed back to the dock, we came across jet skiers that were on a dolphin tour and were lucky enough to see a few dolphins! That was exciting.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would definitely recommend parasailing in Destin with Gilligans. On top of having a fun time, the staff made sure our safety was just as important as parasailing. They gave clear instructions and provided life jackets. It was a great experience.
