Captain Hal and first mate Heather were top notch. We had some rough seas that evening, but everybody had a blast!
Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?
Captain Hal was engaging and informative. Safety was paramount, but it was so was fun! First mate Heather was an excellent dolphin spotter and was engaged with the kids, telling them stories and information about dolphins, Crab Island, and the the Bay.
We saw several dolphin pods, a beautiful sunset, and all the kids got a turn at the wheel with Captain Hal! All in all, it was the kind of trip to create awesome memories for our kids!
Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?
Yes! We had two families, 3 adults and 3 children. The boat had plenty of room, and even though the seas were pretty rough that night, the catameran/pontoon style-boat made for a pretty calm trip.
