I found TripShock on Google when searching for things to do in Destin. I saw this was great pricing for 4 people and it offered live shows with the animals.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked my tickets the day before we left from our vacation.

Why did you choose this activity?

I chose this because I needed something fun and inexpensive to do with children. I am a dolphin lover and I had never seen one in person so I was just as excited to go.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove to the Gulfarium. It was only a 30 minute drive from my room.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

I didn’t talk to any of the staff directly but from the way each staff was with the animals, I knew they were passionate about their careers.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

This was my favorite trip that we took while we were on vacation. I was so much more obsessed with seeing the dolphins and I couldn’t wait to see the dolphin shows. I stood at the windows in amazement of what all the animals couldn’t actually be trained to do. I wish I would’ve had the extra money to actually go swimming with them. The Gulfarium was a very clean place, considers their location. We found ourself doing circles quite often as we read the map going from one exhibit to another. The sea lion show was fantastic. The only hard part about this was the wait for food and drinks. We waited almost 45 minutes just to get drinks, and we had to ditch the line so we could make one of the shows in good time. So we were hot and thirsty most of our trip. I recommend you bring a bottle of water. The gift shop was great and very affordable compared to outside gift shops. The workers in there were extremely polite and kind.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes I would definitely recommend this. It’s definitely a great experience if you live out of town and don’t get to see marine life ever.
