The Activity we Experienced

What we chose to do

The Fish Ate Right out of Our Hands

How did you discover this activity?

I was browsing google for boat tours in the Ft Walton Beach/Destin area and I came across SeaQuests Tours and saw that they offered snorkeling, dolphin sightseeing, and boating for a very good price.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked this tour about a week and a half before our tour date.

Why did you choose this activity?

My husband and I love the ocean and snorkeling and just getting out and doing little adventures.

How did you get to the activity location?

We were staying in Ft Walton Beach and we drove over to Destin. We took the advice of the company and arrived about an hour early in peak season, expect the traffic to be horrific and give yourself plenty of time, 1-2 hrs, to get there and get parked. This was based out of Harbor Walk so it’s a very busy place.

We followed the GPS to get to Harbor Walk, but you don’t really need it. Your GPS isn’t going to take you directly to your tour because it is located in HarborTown. You just need to find parking to walk over to HarborTown. There are parking lots there where you can park for cheap by putting in your credit/debit card info over a pay by phone system. Super cheap. 7 hrs was only around $4.

I suggest picking up an Emerald Coast Guide as it not only has maps in it, but has tons of tips for a fun beach experience while you’re there!

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain Nick was so fun and had our safety in mind as we were on our tour. Listen to his tips! Cody was also lots of fun and took care of many of our needs while on the tour. 2 great guys!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

Snorkeling was a lot of fun. We saw lots of fish and hermit crabs, and feeding the fish peas that Cody gave us was really fun. The fish LOVE the peas and take them right out of your fingers!

The Dolphin sightseeing portion of our tour was spectacular! We came across a good sized pod in the Pass and they were very curious and interacted with us and the other boats around us. They jumped the big waves in the Pass which was incredible to see!

Nick and Cody made the entire tour memorable with their music, stories, and fun attitudes. They played music and we all danced! You get what you put in it, but Nick and Cody go above and beyond to make sure you have a good and safe time!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes! This is good for couples and families. The only thing that some people may not like is the music is fairly loud, because it’s a dance party for half of the trip. If you absolutely can’t stand loud music, then you should take one of their other tours, like their evening sunset dolphin tour.
