TripShock was the easiest way we found to book the activities we wanted to do in Destin.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked the morning of our boat tour, it was so easy!

Why did you choose this activity?

With small children, we didn’t want to do a long boat tour. The Hydrojet tour is just an hour, but it included dolphin sightings and some fun on the water.

How did you get to the activity location?

We were able to drive to the harbor easily and there is plenty of parking.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

From the minute we arrived, Cherrie made us feel welcomed. She got us checked in and offered to take pictures for us. Once on the boat, the captain and first mate were great at explaining everything. They were knowledgeable about the dolphins we saw. They let the kids have a chance to drive the boat if they wanted to, and took pictures for us.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

This trip was great for our group. The length was perfect, as we didn’t want to be out long, but we were still able to get the thrill of a speed boat in open water. A pod of dolphins swam right up next to our boat. We saw some baby dolphins with their mothers in the pod.

You are welcome to bring a small cooler with drinks on board if you want to. My kids and our friends’ kids really enjoyed driving the boat, and trying to spray everyone as they steered over waves.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

This is a great boat tour for those who don’t want to go far, or for those who don’t want to be out long.
