How did you discover this activity?

I came across an ad on Facebook for tripshock after Google searching activities in Destin. We were staying at Mirimar Beach and enjoyed traveling down to Harbor Boulevard for the entertainment and the dolphin cruise. While on the cruise, the staff shared with us the nice beach areas we saw for public access because our beach was full of seaweed and not clean. The next day we came back to the area and enjoyed swimming and watching the boats leaving out on other tours.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

The evening prior we booked our tour.

Why did you choose this activity?

We wanted to see the area and check out what the other beaches were because where we were, Mirimar Beach, was full of seaweed upon arrival. We of course, also went to enjoy the boat ride and see dolphins and other sea life.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove from our condo at Mirimar Beach approx 15 minutes in our car to Harbor Blvd.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain was very sociable, made us laugh, and told us the great history of Destin. The other staff was great in answering questions we had about the area and beach access to places we saw. The captain made sure we saw dolphins and was great at explaining where to look. The ride was relaxing, exciting, and entertaining all at the same time. Highly recommend it and would go again.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The boat ride at sundown was so cool and breezy. My family of 6 enjoyed the ride and the kids were excited to go from side to side to see the dolphins that were sighted. We lost our balance as the boat turned quickly and I remember one time when we turned everyone was like “Woah”! My 12 yr old son was a little nervous on the ride but still happy to see the dolphins and sand sharks, but my 3 girls ages 15, 8, and 3 weren’t nervous at all and wanted to walk all over the boat and see from all levels.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Highly recommended for a great time of relaxing but exciting fun watching dolphins and other sea life such as sharks.
