I found TripShock on a Google search of “Dolphin tours in Destin”. There were several to choose from but I kept returning to this particular site because of the deals listed.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked our tour on the same day. more specifically a few hours before we needed to arrive at the port, lol.

Why did you choose this activity?

This was our first real family vacation so I wanted to make it memorable. Besides experiencing the beach, I wanted my boys (7 & 4) to also get to do other fun things; what could be more fun than searching for dolphins?

How did you get to the activity location?

The harbor was a short drive from our beach resort...the directions listed on the ticket were very easy to follow.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The crew was very friendly and made sure to let us know they were readily available to assist. The captain was a hoot...he kept us all entertained which helped to ease any fears my boys might have had.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

This tour was just what we needed to experience while in Destin! From the ease of booking to the end of the tour, it was just an overall great experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect nor was I 100% convinced that we would see any dolphins; but, thankfully we saw them right off the bat. That got my boys excited, our tour off to a great start, and a big sigh of relief from this anxious Moddy, lol. The Captain even took us on a “fast and furious” boat ride...much to the delight of my children. He was very knowledgeable about the area and shared many nuggets with us. The highlight for me was seeing a pair of dolphins (a mama and her baby)! Just seeing the joy on my boys’ faces was enough to let me know we’d made the right choice.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

This tour was an awesome family-friendly event. I would recommend it to any and everybody! If you have any doubts about booking this tour...take it from me, book it! You won’t be disappointed.
