How did you discover this activity?

We were scrolling through things to do in Destin and found TripShock. We looked at multiple tours and wanted something private.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked the day before and were able to customize our time the same day. Captain Harbor made sure to keep in contact with me.

Why did you choose this activity?

It was a private tour, our captain was able to customize our sailing time, which worked out because we got to see the beautiful sunset, fireworks, and some of the nightlife at sea.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove from Miramar Beach. There was a bad accident that delayed our sail. Some things are out of our control, but again, Captain Harbor kept in touch the entire time.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

We only had Captain Harbor, but I think it made the whole experience more intimate. We got to know him and his sailing background. He’s a great guy.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We saw so many dolphins. Last year we went parasailing and didn’t see any. We were right under the fireworks show, and saw a private flight club in the sky doing tricks.

Even though the trip was delayed, Captain Harbor didn’t rush through the sail. He took his time, and then some. We were allowed to bring our own drinks, which we did, but we didn’t even need them because we were so busy taking the scenery all in.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Absolutely, I recommend this tour. With all of the COVID issues, we wanted a private tour, even though they’re a little bit more expensive. It’s definitely worth it. The available spot was for 3:30pm online, but since it also says customizable, it was a lot easier than I thought it would be.
