I searched boat rentals in Destin area and found this rental through tripshock.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked a few months in advance.

Why did you choose this activity?

We new we wanted to go to crab island for the day and didn’t want to bring our own boat, so we decided renting one was the best option.

How did you get to the activity location?

Our party took a couple of vehicles to the harbor parking area which was only about 20 min away.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

They were all very friendly and seemed like they enjoyed their jobs, especially given how hot it was and how busy they were before and during our departure.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

Our entire stay in Destin was memorable because it was my sister’s fortieth birthday celebration. The day we rented the pontoon boat was probably the most memorable and definitely will be unforgettable for the birthday girl herself. She had a little too much fun the night before, but tried her best to be a trooper and obviously didn’t want to miss anything. The morning of our boat rental we all decided to get up and watch the sunrise. Little did we know we would be a part of and witness our friends engagement too! Such a special start to our day! We were all so happy for them!
Later that morning we checked in at Destin Harbor for our boat rental reservation. It was so hot outside! Kudos to all the staff dealing with all their customers in that heat. I know everyone was miserable, but it was not noticeable as I observed how they handled the customers.
Finally, our boat ride to and from crab island was so fun. Seeing all the other boats going in and out of the harbor was crazy at how busy it was. I had been before, but there were several in our party that hadn’t been to crab island. The water wasn’t the clearest this time, however, we still made the best of our time; throwing the football, floating, eating, mingling, with a little bit of dancing and singing. :) All in all, we all said we would definitely be back to visit and even talked about having our family reunion in Destin next year.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes absolutely. It’s a great place to visit and there are so many things to do and see. Not only for adult only groups but for families as well.
