We booked 2 days before the event.

Why did you choose this activity?

This was my youngest son’s birthday present. He has always wanted to fish in the Gulf.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove a short drive from our condo in Fort Walton Beach to Destin.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain put us on the fish, and kept us on the fish. First mate and the rest of crew were great at giving tips, baiting hooks, and taking fish off lines. They also cleaned the fish at the end of the trip!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

This was the first time we have all fished in the Gulf. We had a blast and made memories we will never forget. We are “hooked!” We will do something like this again. Everybody in the group caught fish, and it was non-stop action.

About the time a bait went down 150 feet, all it took was a couple of cranks, and you had a fish on the line. There were many times we had 2 fish on the line at a time. We had my daughter and niece, who are teenagers, who had predetermined they were going to stay inside the air-conditioned tv room. Well, that didn’t happen. They fished the whole time, and caught multiple fish, and several different kinds.

My wife enjoyed it. Both of my sons had a blast, as well as my brother-in-law. I caught so many fish I was giving out, but I didn’t want it to end! The trip was well worth our time and money.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I definitely recommend this trip to anybody that wants to be treated right by the crew, and wants to catch fish. I literally got tired catching fish, but didn’t want to stop the fun!
