Looking at Destin’s website of attractions, I came across Vitamin Sea Sailing.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked approximately two months in advance.

Why did you choose this activity?

Since I was a kid, I wanted to go sailing and wanted to see dolphins and other wildlife. This was best of both worlds without having to do a traditional dolphin cruise.

How did you get to the activity location?

We stayed at The Island by Hotel RL on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, so we were a quick 8-minute drive to the marina.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain JD is fun, knowledgeable, addressed all of our needs, super chill, and made booking and preparing for our sailing adventure a seamless process, so we could truly enjoy the experience. He customized the adventure to our liking, and made it so much fun looking for dolphins and other wildlife.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

Our highlights include the Gulf and the emerald-green coast! We enjoyed the sailing, sailing lessons, good music, great company, beautiful sailing weather, dolphins and a shark, and truly soaking up the Vitamin Sea Sailing!

The bean bag chairs are super comfy, and laying on the trampoline portion at the front of the boat is fun. It makes you feel like you’re flying over the water, and it’s nice when crashing the waves, because sometimes the refreshing Gulf water will splash you to keep you cool on a hot day!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes, we highly recommend Vitamin Sea Sailing! The intimate experience soo beats those dolphin cruises, and the dolphins ride right alongside the boat.
