I searched boat ride attractions in Destin, and I came across TripShock, which led me to find the hydrojet.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked the day of the activity.

Why did you choose this activity?

We’ve never heard of a hydrojet and wanted to check it out. We had gone jet skiing earlier in the day and weren’t very satisfied, so we wanted to make up for the money we spent on that.

How did you get to the activity location?

It was just a short 10-minute drive from where we were at.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The driver was very nice and gave us an awesome ride. The nice young lady on board interacting with the crew was knowledgeable about the area, helpful in showing us where the dolphins were, and took really good pictures of us.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

Seeing the sunset go down in the Gulf of Mexico was amazing. I’ve never seen anything like it before. What also stood out to me was how wavy it was out there. We got splashed a few times, which was refreshing.

It also was not hot sitting there, which was enjoyable. Overall, it was just an enjoyable experience. I will always remember this experience and can’t wait to share it with friends and family when I get home!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Absolutely! It was definitely worth the money and time. You don’t see a hydrojet everywhere you go.
