How did you discover this activity?

We wanted to go on a sunset cruise. We found TripShock when we Googled “sunset cruises.” We chose this one due to the appearance of the boat.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked the cruise one week in advance, and I am so glad we did.

Why did you choose this activity?

My husband and I wanted to do something memorable and special on our honeymoon. Nothing seemed to compare to making the sweet memories of watching dolphins during the sunset on a sailboat.

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to the harbor was a short drive from our hotel. The views on the way were beautiful and the area was well marked.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain Brian was very informative and handled the boat well. Taylor, one of the deckhands, was very nice and talkative. We even had our picture made with him.

It was nice to know that his service in the Coast Guard prepared him to have a job that he enjoyed. The other deckhand, who I should have asked his name, was super nice, as well! I could not have asked for a better experience!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The boat itself was amazing. It was well kept and beautiful. The staff on the boat was so nice, funny, and helpful. They gladly changed the course of the boat to find where the dolphins were to get us closer to them.

They even took us a short distance into the opening of the Gulf to see a pod of dolphins feeding where the Gulf and bay meet. The views from the boat at sunset were inspiring. It is one of the best experiences I have ever had. I will gladly visit this boat every time I come to Destin.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I highly recommend this experience to anyone coming within the area of Destin. This sunset boat ride on the Daniel Webster Clements is for not only for couples, but also for families. I highly recommend the sunset tour! The views of the sunset from the bay are amazing!
