We did a Google search for “deep sea fishing in Destin” and decided to book this trip after reading the reviews and comparing prices.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked about a week in advance.

Why did you choose this activity?

My friend and I enjoy fishing and wanted to introduce our 11 and 12 year old sons to deep sea fishing.

How did you get to the activity location?

The dock was a 5 minute drive from the condo we were renting!

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The captain and crew were experts at their jobs! The crew did an excellent job of preparing the boat and gear, instructing us on the techniques and do’s and dont’s, and handling our fish once we caught them. They also filleted our fish when we returned to the dock!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We are grateful that we now have a great “first deep sea fishing trip” memory with our sons! The captain and crew were experts at their jobs! The crew did an excellent job of preparing the boat and gear, instructing us on the techniques and do’s and dont’s, and handling our fish once we caught them. They also filleted our fish when we returned to the dock!

The 6-hour trip was a good combination of boating time and fishing time, we spent about 2 hours going out, 2 hours fishing, and 2 hours returning. During the boating periods, we had a great time spotting dolphins, sharks, and a giant sea turtle! We got to watch our sons each catch their first red snapper and vermillion! Our sons can’t wait to return and do it again!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

The 6-hour trip is perfect for beginners/kids. If your group is beyond beginner level, do the 8 or 10-hour trip!
