We found this activity while searching for charter boats in Destin. We knew we wanted a boating excursion, but also that we wanted a professional captain, so we could just relax and enjoy ourselves.

We booked our charter about 2 weeks before departure.

Why did you choose this activity?

We wanted to experience an afternoon on a pontoon boat with a professional captain who knew all the best places to go, and could give us an insider’s tour of the area.

How did you get to the activity location?

The harbor was just a few minute away by car from our beach condo.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain Gene was amazing! He has a fantastic personality, and was focused on making sure we had a memorable day. Gene was amazing with the kids, and helped them learn how to snorkel and paddleboard.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

From lounging, paddleboarding, and snorkeling at Crab Island, to boating around looking for dolphins, and stopping at a beach area to look for crabs and shells, our day was full of memorable moments.

The kids got to help Captain Gene “steer” the boat, and that sealed the deal! They have a new best friend, and they keep telling us they, “miss Captain Gene.” Next time we are in Destin, we will be booking a charter with Captain Gene again. It was the best part of our trip, hands down!

We would absolutely recommend this excursion to anyone! It could be a family-friendly day like we had, or a more adult kind of day with cocktails and relaxation.
