What we chose to do

We Caught a Shark on our Party Boat Fishing Trip

How did you discover this activity?

We found this activity on the internet.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked the day before.

Why did you choose this activity?

My son and husband love to fish together, so we thought why not give this a shot!?

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to the harbor was only about a 20-minute car drive from our resort on the beach.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The staff was absolutely amazing. They all went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time. We have an 11-year-old boy and Jeff in particular made sure he caught a big fish. He actually fixed his pole up and he was able to catch a sandbar shark. It was absolutely the experience of a lifetime!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

Captain Nick even let our boy drive the boat! Our son even caught one of the biggest Red Snappers, and we got to take all of the fresh fish home! Catching the shark was definitely the highlight. We also caught some kind of weird looking fish just from releasing a line out while going to our fishing spot!

We were not expecting to have such a great time. If we go down to Destin again, we will be looking to do this same trip and hope that we get the same staff. Jeff was absolutely amazing and made our whole vacation. Thank you all for such a wonderful time!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Absolutely! Anyone with children that enjoy fishing would love this, or even anyone just looking for something to do and to have a great time!
