How did you discover this activity?

We found TripShock on Google when we searched for things to do in Destin. All of the tours were very fair priced. We decided on the Daniel Webster Clements Sailing Adventure because it was a sunset sail and it was so amazing and so beautiful.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked one week in advance.

Why did you choose this activity?

We thought it would be really awesome watching the sunset from the water, and that being on an old-fashioned sailboat would be that much more of an amazing experience. It completely was!

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to the Harbor was a quick and inexpensive uber ride from our condo.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The Captain was very informative and thorough. The First Mates were very attentive to all the people on board by keeping our drinks full and answering everyones questions, all while working the sails the entire time!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

Besides the excitement of watching the way a sailboat is ran and all the work that goes into it, it was so beautiful to watch the sunset from the boat. I think the greatest part was the fact the boat didn’t move at a high rate of speed, so it was easy to watch the entire sunset and to actually relax and enjoy being on the water and feeling the ocean breeze.

We were also able to see the dolphins swimming. The guys told us many different things about the wildlife in the area, and talked about the way they were raising and lowering the sails, so it made it all more understandable to all of us aboard.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes. It was an all-around wonderful and beautiful experience. It’s great for kids and couples younger and older!
