We wanted to do something exciting, so I googled things to do in Destin and TripShock caught my attention. I scrolled through and their deals were within my budget.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked our dolphin tour the same day but had to wait just one day to go parasailing.

Why did you choose this activity?

We had always wanted to do something daring and it was my son’s sweet 16th birthday! So instead of a car, we took him on a fun-filled vacation.

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to the harbor was a five-minute drive from our hotel.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The captain was awesome and knowledgeable. He drove the boat with ease and experience as we sailed out. His first mate got us all ready for our turn to go up in the sky.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The look on my husband and son’s faces was priceless! Yes, I screamed the whole time, but I enjoyed being with them and I was so happy they were brave enough to go in the first place. We talked about the water beneath us and how calming it looked, but being up that high was a little scary. Then, we all began to relax and just flow with the wind. The touch of the water was the best part and I enjoyed the cool water on our skin. Then, we landed safely back on our boat.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes. Anyone of all ages should parasail. It was an amazing experience and we plan to do it again soon.
