How did you discover this activity?

I did a Google search for dolphin tours in Destin, and this one looked like a good deal. I also like that the location was easy to get to, and it was fun to walk around before the cruise.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked the night before the cruise because it was a last minute addition to our date night. So glad we did it! It made the night to see all of those dolphins in the beautiful Gulf Coast water as the sun was setting. It was a chilly night in January, but totally worth it!

Why did you choose this activity?

I love spotting dolphins from the beach, but I was looking forward to seeing them closer up. Watching them at sunset with my husband seemed like a fun and romantic outing, before getting a great dinner in Destin.

How did you get to the activity location?

We followed the directions TripShock texted us with ease. It was straightforward to locate, and fun to walk around HarborWalk before the cruise started.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The captain and first mate were funny, easy going, and got us to the dolphins. The first mate walked around frequently to check on the needs of the passengers, or just to tell a good joke and get a laugh.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We had a good time taking in the sights of the harbor, including the birding wildlife around us. The rocking of the boat going into the the Gulf was exhilarating, as well. We couldn’t go too far out because the water was so choppy that day, but it didn’t matter, we still saw plenty of dolphins in the bay and harbor.

I’ll always remember snuggling up to my husband and watching the beauty of the sunset, water, and dolphins, all at once. It was dreamy. I highly recommend giving it a go!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Definitely, if you’re looking for an out-of-the-ordinary date night, this one is a winner.
