The Activity we Experienced

What we chose to do

Seeing the Destin Harbor from our Cruise at Night was Spectacular

How did you discover this activity?

TripShock was the top link that popped up when I Googled, “boat charters out of Destin Harbor.” I just assumed TripShock would be as good as any other booking service. They offered discounts if you book online, too.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked our sunset dolphin cruise 4 hours in advance of the departure.

Why did you choose this activity?

My family and I wanted to escape the heat from the beach, so we needed a way to get out on the water.

How did you get to the activity location?

The Destin HarborWalk is easy to navigate. There is plenty of parking available for a small fee.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The captain was super low key which we appreciated. He pointed out some things around the harbor, but was not too overly verbose. He seemed to genuinely enjoy the role he played. Being that it is the end of their high tourist season, that is commendable.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The boat trip departed and returned on time. It was a pleasant experience. We spotted a dolphin or two. Essentially, our goal was to watch the sunset and escape the heat on land. It was a magnificent sunset.

The captain had a nice rapport with the passengers. He made everyone feel at ease. We took a lot of beautiful pictures of the scenery. Returning to the harbor at night was an amazing sight to see with all the lights, as Destin used to be a sleepy little fishing town.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes, I would recommend this charter. It worked for us because we booked just one or two hours in advance.
