Crab Island Florida is a popular choice, and depending on your departure point, not very far from Fort Walton Beach. 2. Is a private charter boat worth it vs a public charter?

If you are hoping to swim with dolphins, you can head to the Gulfarium, or head to Panama City Beach where swimming with dolphins is allowed (aboard a specialized dolphin swim tour).
