Civil War Library Delight

about 18 hours ago
First let me say the new management is doing a wonderful job. Brandy thank you for making sure my husband with mobility problems was well cared for by Ben and Chase. Second what an amazing civil war library open to the public, very well organized, my husband will return to sit and read about different battles. The cemetery look up for genealogy folks is well designed too.

Beauvoir=Beautiful

Our transaction with TripShock was seemless. The tour(by Rob) was very informative and historic. He read our groups interest very well and the stories that went with the items made it so much more interesting...seriously he was fabulous! Seeing the house is a must. Definitely worth the trip and was a highlight of ours. Gift shop is very well stocked with cookbooks, books, novelties, poster prints of documents, pins, patches, shirts, something for everyone. Put it on your must do list if you want to learn the history of the area.

The tour and tour guide was excellent. I believe his name was Robin. I loved visiting The Confederate Cemetery.

Wonderful Historic Venue

Southern history could not be complete without the last home of Jefferson Davis included. The house tour guide really knew her stuff and the couple who showed us around the museum were beyond warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Planning another trip back in the fall. Only negative comment I could make was the times listed on the web weren't accurate.
