When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked about a week in advance, and one of our friends was able to purchase a third waverunner when we got on site.

Why did you choose this activity?

It was my friend’s birthday, and I wanted to take her to see the dolphins, her favorite animal.

How did you get to the activity location?

It was easy to get there. It was a little confusing with all the other little shops around, but not too hard to find.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

All of the staff was great! Our tour guide was awesome! My husband’s wave runner started to break down and not go fast with the rest of us, so one of our guides that was in the back of the line switched wave runners with him. Both of our guides were just awesome guys!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

A few highlights from our trip include finding a mermaid’s purse on Shell Island. The shells are big! Well, compared to what I find on Tybee, which is the closest beach to our house. My friends fell in the water while trying to look down at the water, haha! Note: two people on the waverunner must take turns leaning.

The dolphins were so cool to see up close like we did. One even had a fish in its mouth. When we went out to the Gulf, the water was kind of rough, but the waves were a pretty decent size. The thrill of getting to the top of the wave, and the drop down from there was so crazy. Calmer waters would have made it easier, for sure, but we were all so happy that we did it.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes, absolutely! There’s nothing like the thrill of jumping the waves and seeing the dolphins. It was soooo much fun!
