When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked the day before after seeing some tour boats around the beach.

Why did you choose this activity?

I had never been out on the Gulf, and I wanted my children to see the dolphins. Also, our friends with us wanted to go out on a boat in the Gulf, as well.

How did you get to the activity location?

We just used Google maps to take us over to the marina, which wasn’t hard to find and had lots of parking.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The captain was very nice and let the kids under 6 take turns driving the boat, which they loved. He would announce each of their names as captain when it was their turn.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The boat trip was so nice and peaceful. It was at sunset so the temperature was more pleasant. We enjoyed feeding the seagulls Cheetos. The kids thought it was so funny that the seagulls would grab the Cheetos out of your hands. We saw other boats out and waved at them. We saw shrimp boats, St. Andrews State Park, and Shell Island. We saw many beautiful homes along the beaches, as well.

Drinks and snacks were available downstairs. There were a few times the waves got a little rough and we had to sit down, but there were no real issues to worry about. It was my first time out on the Gulf, and it was the one thing during my trip to Panama City Beach that I felt like I got what I paid for. I know my kids and I will cherish those memories.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

This works great for large families. There is a lot of seating on the boat, you can get up and move around, and the kids don’t have to sit still and get restless.
