How did you discover this activity?

I simply Google searched dolphin excursions in Panama City Beach and TripShock was one of the first websites that I came across. They had tons of offers to choose from.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked our tour the first day we arrived on our vacation. We were able to get a date for two days out, which was perfect since the first few days were too cool and the water wasn’t conditional for a tour.

Why did you choose this activity?

My daughters have always wanted to “swim with the dolphins.” This was a way they could enjoy seeing the dolphins and for my husband and I to relax and enjoy the activity as well.

How did you get to the activity location?

We were staying about 11 miles from the old Lighthouse Marina. So, we just hopped into the car for a short ride.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain Bruce was awesome. He was friendly, knew PCB’s history, and knew just where to go for dolphin viewing. He was so nice to us all.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

Olivia, my daughter, got to be co-captain with Bruce! We saw tons of dolphins. We even saw other sea life along the way.

The water was quite cold. I’ll remember Bruce getting us as close as possible to the shore at Shell Island, so we didn’t have to submerge ourselves in the cold water.

While at Shell Island, we found lots of pretty shells and Victoria even found a sand dollar!

Lastly, the trip out to the snorkeling area was nice. The girls decided to try it out, but Dad and I stayed put. I think they would have liked to have seen more sea life while snorkeling. However, the conditions were cold and the water not as clear in the snorkeling area.

I will remember the area of the dolphins and Shell Island having the most beautiful crystal clear blue waters. The area was gorgeous! Thanks TripShock for finding us a great adventure with Captain Bruce.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes. I loved that it was a smaller tour. The trip ended up being just our family.

This trip was more personable as it catered to more of a private tour than some of the bigger tours with lots of people. This is what I loved and will remember most.

It is a great memory of just us and Captain Bruce!
