We passed Shipwreck Island on our way to the vacation condo we were staying in. Once we got settled in, we got online to find out more information about the waterpark. TripShock offered the best rates and had great reviews!

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked the day before we went, from the balcony of our vacation condo.

Why did you choose this activity?

Our family enjoys going to waterparks whether in our hometown or on vacation. This one did not disappoint! Shipwreck Island was a lot of fun and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove a couple of blocks to get to the park from the condo. There was plenty of parking and entry was effortless.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

From the many, many lifeguards to the employees who worked at the concession stands, everyone was friendly and helpful.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

My husband and I always look forward to taking our children on vacation, but now that they range in age from 11-21, it’s a bit more challenging to find activities that everyone enjoys.

Shipwreck Island had the awesome wave pool that we played in together. They had single sliding boards and tube slides that we could do together. There was plenty of lawn chairs and shade to rest when we needed to, and we also took advantage of the lazy river to just relax and talk.

Overall, our favorite part of this trip was the family tube ride and the rapids that we called the “crazy river.” We all laughed so hard that it was difficult to hold on to the raft. Thank you for the great family day we had with our children. We would recommend Shipwreck Island to anyone who enjoys water parks. We will definitely go back!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

While we enjoyed the bigger rides with our big kids, Shipwreck Island also had a kiddie section for families with small children. I would recommend this park for any age group, as long as they enjoy having fun in the water!
