We found TripShock by Googling “dolphin activities to do in Panama City”. The price was reasonable and we wanted to try something our family had never done before.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked the day before since we were there on vacation.

Why did you choose this activity?

We chose this activity because we decided it would be something fun for our 11 year old son. And, neither of us had ever been out on a boat in the ocean, seen dolphins, or gone snorkeling.

How did you get to the activity location?

We Google Mapped the directions from where we were staying in Bonifay and it took us straight there with no problems. The parking lot was clearly marked.

The staff was amazing, kind, and helpful. They were ready to answer questions from our son and were very attentive to making sure everyone’s safety was a priority. They were also very knowledgeable about the sea life that we encountered and the boat we w

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

Seeing how excited my son was about trying something new was a highlight. We got to explore under water and found live sand dollars, several sea urchins, and a star fish. Having a hands-on experience with things we have never seen close up was a great learning experience. The captain showed us on the star fish where one of its arms had been damaged and was regenerating.

The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the local sea life. They were also knowledgeable about the craft we were on, so we learned things about the boat and about where it was made. The boat was clean. I personally had a huge fear of being out in the open water away from a beach. The staff helped. I felt safe enough on this trip to conquer that fear and I actually enjoyed it!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Kids around eight and up would love this. It was a great family activity. We got to do something all together and see things that we’ve only ever seen on TV.
