When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked our tour the day before we went out.

Why did you choose this activity?

I had never been snorkeling before and had read that Shell Island was amazing. We wanted to see dolphins and get the best experience all in one

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to the marina was about 15 min but only like 4 miles

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Capt. Lee was friendly, knowledgeable and paid attention to safety and even considered the language of music he played. Which BTW was a great variety for every genre

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

Just snorkeling.! We found a star fish but put it back after our deck hand told us it was illegal lol (knowledgeable) but it was fun trying to find Sand Dollars in Sand dollar Cove and watching the fish etc. We didn’t see any dolphins this trip because the water was rough and we couldn’t get out in the gulf and since the rain the water was murky but even with all that we still had a memorable time!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would recommend this tour however maybe not if it has rained close to your tour due to the murky water. If you want a simple trip with 16 or less people and don’t care about a super luxurious boat thus is a great 2 hours to spend!
