We booked the tour a few days prior to arrival.

We have a large family and wanted an activity we could all enjoy together.

We drove from our beach rental home to the harbor by personal vehicle.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The staff was friendly and informative. Due to a huge rainstorm that morning we ended up having some water in the gas line and they sent a boat straight out to fix the issue and we were quickly back underway!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We had rain off and on all week and there was a big storm that basically stop right before our rental time started. The staff assessed the situation and deemed it safe to ship out. We set out into the Bay but an alarm indicating water in the gas line started beeping. After a call to the staff, they quickly had a boat out to us and fixed the issue. Then we got back on our way! Before we reached Shell Island, a giant thunderstorm came over and we all had to huddle under the boat cover. We were all freezing and drenched but laughing so much! Thankfully, the storm passed and we were able to set anchor and explore the island and swim. I don’t think we will ever forget this boat trip!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would definitely recommend this boat rental. The boat is easy to operate and it gives you some autonomy versus a group tour.
