We booked one week before.

Why did you choose this activity?

My husband and I wanted to see the gulf by boat and look at the dolphins. We got just that. It was amazing!

How did you get to the activity location?

We jumped in the car and 7 minutes later, we were at Grand Lagoon for our departure.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain Cody and his deckhand Nick were very personable and interactive with the guests. They told stories about sights we passed and the history of different locations we went by. Captain Cody filled us in about the rich history and personal experience about the area. The Captain would point out sea life so everyone could enjoy seeing them. They even gave recommendations for other adventures to do while in PCB. Gave restaurant recommendations which we took advantage of, and J. Michael’s had great food.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

Seeing the dolphins jumping in the surf. I was in awe how close they actually get. Captain Cody and Nick made this enjoyable for everyone. There was a lot of interaction and knowledge shared. We were about to pull crab pts from the gulf. Seeing what a live spider crab and blue crab looked like. You were about to handle these sea creatures. The kids loved this. They shot the cannon off and boy, that was so cool. The shipwreck from the 1920s that is submerged was a cool sight, but the back story made it so much more interesting. Who knew there were rum runners in PCB? Deckhand Nick went around taking pictures of the couples, families, and friends aboard so they could have a keepsake of the trip. Loved this!
